What are the overall reviews of west Africa’s offshore oil and gas exploration during 2019~2023 for good news and specific challenges? How to accelerate offshore upstream exploration and monetization before 2050, and balance the requirements of energy transition? What are the specific initiatives and solutions of APPO?
| On last week, H.E. Dr. Omar Farouk Ibrahim, General Secretary, African Petroleum Producers' Organisation (APPO) confirmed to join the West Africa Offshore Upstream Conference 2023 (December 5-6th, Abuja, Nigeria) and will deliver a keynote speech. Meanwhile, Dr Taher Najah, Director Railwan Lukman Research and Development Centre, African Petroleum Producers Organisation (APPO) will also join the conference as VIP attendee. Recently, APPO is driving the partnership with the Afreximbank to establish the Africa Energy Bank with aim to solve the financial matter.
